A line of credit (LOC) and/or an authorized overdraft are pre-arranged and approved loans which allow the member to borrow up to a pre-determined amount without arranging for individual loans. It allows flexibility to make those large purchases without having to arrange for a new loan every time. Interest is paid only on the amount used each month.
