The Board of Directors of Chinook Credit Union Ltd. and Macleod Savings and Credit Union Ltd. are pleased to announce that we are recommending an amalgamation between our two credit unions. The formal proposal will be presented to our membership at our annual general meeting March 4, 2010.

The new credit union will adopt the name of Chinook Credit Union Ltd. and will have branches in Bassano, Brooks, Claresholm, Drumheller, Fort Macleod, Hanna, Hussar, Lomond, Nanton, Strathmore and Vulcan. As well as agencies in Rockyford and Vauxhall.
