CHINOOK STAFF VOLUNTEER AT THE MUSTARD SEED
Staff and family members from the Chinook Credit Union Strathmore Branch volunteered to prepare and serve a meal at the Mustard Seed.
The staff sponsored the meal which consisted of a ham dinner that they not only prepared but served to approximately 100 residents of the shelter. The eight hundred and fifty dollars that the meal cost was raised from the staffs bi-weekly 50/50 draws.
At this particular shelter the residents not only eat there but live there as well. Chinook staff found this to be a very humbling experience but very rewarding and all came away with a new appreciation for their own lives and thankful for working for a company that shows their support to their communities.
